We not allow smoking in the room but you can smoke at the balcony or smoking area in the hotel and you can smoking as the swimming pool also.

Is it direct access to pool? Is it out the front door with a common pathway in between. Under room photo it says pool view.

Regarding to Deluxe pool access the room beside swimming pool only ground floor. Deluxe Pool view with 2nd, 3rd ,4th floor

This is my reliable go to hotel in Patong. Excellent location and wonderful staff. Always great value and the breakfast is really good. And love the pool. Wonderful old Thai ambience.

Good hotel but maybe too expensive for high season. Good for low season.

I booked 2 double rooms on Tony Resort. For the first few days we stayed in 5th floor on second building. At some point, there was an issue with one of the airconditioning units in one on the rooms so the hotel decided to move one of the rooms at the 4th floor of the first building. They were even kind enough to move the second room to the 3rd floor of the first building to be closer together. So I will split this review into 2 parts. One for each type of room. The second building is for cheaper rooms but it is more homely. There is a big corridor in each floor which has a view of the city so we were all able to hang out together outside our rooms and enjoy. On the first building, although the rooms are bigger and better, that was not possible. There is a balcony but space is limited for more than 2 people. The pool was big with a lot of open space to enjoy and sunbathe. Location is amazing. 10 minutes from Bangla Road, 5 minutes from Jungceylon, a lot of restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Housekeeping was available every day from 11-19 (if i am not mistaken) upon request. Great stuff.

While the pool was very beautiful, there is a construction happening exactly next to the pool so it was impossible to relax. And even though i am pretty sure that this construction had nothing to do with the hotel itself, it did make our time in the pool a lot worse. Given that the big pool is one of the selling points, it definitely soured our view of the hotel. When we faced the issue with the airconditioning in one of room (one part fell off and almost hit one of my friends) the hotel moved them to another room. but they refused to move the second room next to our friends. The reason they did that, is that the room was more expensive. In the beginning they even told me that I should pay to move next to my friends which I shut down very fast. After a long discussion, the manager agreed to put me one floor lower than my friends which was better than nothing but again, beside the point as we could not hang out. I want to point out the room next to my friend's room was never used by anyone else while I was staying at the hotel. But it was a "deluxe room" so hotel didn't want to give it out. Just a hint for the hotel, when someone books 2 rooms for 4 adults, they expect to be at least on the same floor.

Excellent place to stay at reasonable price

Once again the staff are very friendly . Especially Joy on the front desk jay jay and ice are also very helpful . Location to everything is excellent . The pool which is the centrepiece of the complex is always kept in pristine condition but the surrounds maybe need a freshen up as the pebble crete surrounds is cracking and discoloured . Breakfast since my last visit has improved the hot dishes have more substance to them but silly tourists leave the lids open???? so sometimes dishes are cold but variety is good and although the cost has increased it is reasonable value . Bbq nights are also good value and great for an easy meal before a night out

Well for the first time I had problems with my room .I actually changed rooms 3 times in a couple of days but the staff were so accommodating it was no problem . The hotel now is starting to show signs of wear and tear and management maybe needs to do some upgrades soon .

The staff were polite,helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious with a good balcony. I loved the pool area

There was some very noisy building work going on near the hotel, but that was not the hotel's fault. Apart from that it was all good.

The room was good with view of pool in an exelent location within walking distance to beach otop market and bangalar road. stalf were friendly and helpful and has a very nice pool.

thought it was bit overpriced for the time of year low season. the breakfast could have more variety .

We would stay at tony resort again

I have stayed at Tony Resort many times and have always enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful from reception to cleaning staff. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The Friday night foam pool party was a lot of fun.

The bathrooms definitely need updating the corrosion around the basin taps was bad and need replacing and the shower taps also need replacing. the grout around the tiles in the shower need a good clean.

Very pleasant, would stay again.

We stayed in a room with pool access which was good, however our room was 101 which was a bit noisy with a lot of traffic passing by. Only draw back was the room curtains, their was no privacy at all when opened so mostly they were drawn closed, only a problem if you light natural light during the day.

Their western meals were not the best.
